Henry L Lett's Obituary
Dea. Henry Lee Lett was born in Morgan County on June 12, 1944, to the late Rev. Benjamin F. Lett and Maggie L. Lett. He was preceded in death by his parents as well as 5 siblings, Ruby Holmes, Benjamin Lett, Jr., Daniel Lett, Moses Lett and Johnson Lett. Henry was educated in the Rockdale County School System. At an early age he joined Old Pleasant Baptist Church. He later joined Knox Chapel Baptist Church, his family church, where he was ordained as a deacon. He served faithfully until he became ill. Henry was a man that loved the Lord, and he loved singing and praying. He enjoyed helping anyone he could, and he loved to make people laugh! Although he didn't have any birth children, he would always say 'I raised you, Young'un!' Even his older siblings! Henry is so loved by all who knew him, and he will be greatly missed! He leaves to cherish his memories, one brother, Augustus Lett, 3 sisters, Lucille Marks, Eunice Christian and Florene Burley. He also has a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
