Harvey "Pokey" West's Obituary
Harvey West departed this life on January 10, 2022, at Rockdale Piedmont Hospital.
He was born on May 8th, 1953, to Lizzie and John West.
Harvey attended JP Carr Public School in Conyers, GA. He worked all his adult life as a Contractor.
As a young man, "Pokey" had a love for fancy cars and stylish clothes. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his family members and friends. Pokey would often end his conversations by saying, "Love you", he loved his family.
Proceeding him in death: son, Monty Duncan; Parents, Lizzie and John West; Brothers, John and Lewis West; Sisters, Johnnie Mae Giles and Lucy Mae Williams. He leaves to cherish his memories, son, Harvey Jermaine West and Quesonya (Phillip) Jackson; a devoted sister, Carolyn (Ralph) Johnson, a special love, Tanya Duncan. And a host of devoted nieces and nephews, family and friends.
