Fred Henderson Jr, a beloved son, father, and grandfather returned home to his Heavenly Father on Sunday, November 14,2021. He was born May 10, 1948 to Fred (Maudie Lee) Henderson, Sr. in Covington, Georgia.
Freddie Jr, as he was so affectionately called, attended R.L Cousins High School and was a deacon and active member of Big Miller Grove Baptist Church. In 2011, Fred retired from Hill-Phoenix and spent his leisure time hunting, fishing, gardening. He was an avid Atlanta Braves and Falcons fan and the highlight of his day was eating the senior breakfast at Krystal's with his friends.
He is preceded in death by his wife Valerie A. Henderson, his father Fred Henderson Sr., and his brothers Wavey Henderson, & Larry Doby Henderson.

Sherry Holden Ricks. brother Mr. Harold (Laura) Henderson, sister Maudie (Jerry) Sheppard, sister Mattie (Terry) Sidwell.
Grandchildren Chiajunna Holden, Shakajia Sowell, Keisha Holden, Sherlanda (Ron) Everson,Breonca Stephens, Sharnell, Holden, L Levin Lackey, Lleyton Lackey, Rylan Holden and 8 great grandchildren; Barbara Ann Cobb and Connie Hawk and caregivers Danita Bailey, Rhonda Fisher and Ronnie Harrison and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
