Frances Elizabeth Bates' Obituary
Frances Elizabeth Bates was born on February 17, 1930 to the late Willie Turner Sr. and Olivia Carr. The only girl of three children. She was born and raised in Conyers, Georgia and educated in Decatur, Georgia.
Frances, loved and enjoyed shopping and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Frances was a devoted member of the Rock Temple A.M.E. Church. Where she served as choir President, Assistant to the Pastor Aide Committee, she loved singing, one thing about Frances people enjoyed and loved being around her, she was full of laughter and honesty, and whatever she thought about you she would let you know. Those fun memories of her will be truly missed by her family and friends.
Frances passed away surrounded by her family on August 29, 2018. Frances was preceded in death by her father Willie Turner, Mother Olivia Carr, two brother Raymond Carr, Willie Sue Turner two daughters; Gwendolynn, and Sabrina, three sons; Gregg, Andre and Broderick, two Aunts Katie Bell, Addie Moore.
Frances leaves memories to be cherished by; A loving and devoted brother Rev. Henry Loyal. Sister Leona Carr, two cousin Eardell Porter, Calvin Elliott, six loving children Ricky (Nancy) Bailey, Larsena (Robert) Mitchell, Nedra Hider, Marisa (George) Albert, Cumbanitha (Craig)Bass, Haywood Bates Jr. Seventeen grandchildren, twenty-eight Great-grandchildren, two devoted sisters; Virginia Harris, Margaret Ingram, A devoted longtime friend James Hightower and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
