Eunice Christian's Obituary
Mother Eunice Lett Christian was born to Reverend Benjamin F. Lett Sr. and Mrs. Maggie Johnson Lett on December 20, 1939, in Walton County, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Deacon Robert James Christian. She was also preceded by her brothers: Augustus Lett, Benjamin F. Lett Jr., Johnson Lett, Henry Lee Lett, Moses Lett, Daniel Lett and sister: Ruby Nell Holmes. She was educated in the school system of Walton and Rockdale Counties. She met and married Robert James Christian on November 26, 1960. From this union 4 children were born: Eric Bernard Christian, Robert Darrell Christian, Tina Michelle Smith and Dexter Scott Christian. She was blessed with a bonus son Robert James Hayes. She joined Knox Chapel under the leadership of her father Reverend Benjamin F. Lett Sr. She remained a faithful member for over 75 years, where she served in various ministries. She was employed by Scott Foam for more than 25 years, where she worked as the Quality Inspector for companies such as Beauty Rest, Sealy and Stern and Foster. We rested well under her quality and care. Mrs. Eunice Christian departed this life on August 14, 2025. She leaves to carry on her legacy her very devoted children: Eric Bernard Christian, Robert Darrell Christian, Tina Michelle Smith, (Son-n-Law) Donald Smith, Robert James Hayes (Daughter-n-Law) Pearl Hayes and Dexter Scott Christian; sisters Florene Allen and Lucille Marks, brother-n-law Daniel Marks; Her special friend James Colley; host of grandchildren, family and friends. Mother Eunice Christian favorite scripture was from Matthew 1:23, which she read every Christmas morning to her family, continuing the legacy of her Mother Maggie Johnson-Lett.
