Eloise Boyd's Obituary
Eloise Boyd, age 78, was born on May 11, 1947, in Social Circle, Georgia. She peacefully entered eternal rest on November 21, 2025, leaving a legacy of unwavering faith, quiet strength, and extraordinary love.

A devoted woman of God, Eloise began each day with gratitude-not for what she had, but simply because he allowed her to see another morning. She believed in Him, lived for Him, and walked in grace every step of her journey. She was a faithful, long-time member of Green Forest Baptist Church, where her presence was rooted in service, worship, and love for her community.
Eloise was preceded in death by her parents, Bertha and Clinton Harris; four sisters, Betty Sue Hubert, Shirley Ann McGuire, Fannie Lee Astin, and Mattie Mack; and one brother, Jimmy Harris. She is survived by her loving husband. Alfred Boyd, and five daughters: Selita Boyd, Felicia (Anthony) Sheely, LaTonja (Derrick) Johnson, Karanji Powell, and Aalja Boyd. She also leaves to cherish her memory her grandchildren, Jaya (Eric) Moore, Jasmine Powell, Jemini Powell, Jolie Young, Lerric Johnson, and Dillion Johnson, and her great-grandchildren, Rylie Brantley, Atlas Moore, and Asher Moore.
Additional survivors include one brother, Clinton (Jolanda) Harris; two step-sisters, Rachel (Robert) Howard and Rosie Crowley; one step-brother, Ralph Harris; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends who loved her deeply and will miss her always. Services to celebrate her life will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2025. Funeral procession @ 1:00 p.m. at Wynbrooke Elementary School, 440 Wicksbury Way, Stone Mountain, GA 30087. Graveside Service @ 3:00 p.m. at Westview Cemetery, 1680 Westview Drive SW, Atlanta, GA 30310. A celebration of life will follow at 4:30 p.m. @ the Atlanta Evergreen Lakeside Resort, 1000 Robert E. Lee Blvd., Stone Mountain, GA 30083. *Guests are requested to wear burgundy in celebration of her life. *Parking at Stone Mountain is complimentary; please inform attendants that you are attending the repass/event.
