Ella Mae Ward's Obituary
Ella Mae Koiner Ward affectionally known to family as "Pinkey" was born June 17,1948, to
Ella Robinson and Hilliard Koiner Sr. Harlem New York City entered eternal rest on January
08,2022, at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital, Atlanta Georgia. She was the 5th child of nine children.
Pinkey attended New York City Public School System. At an early age she was baptized and
became a member of the Union Baptist Church Harlem, New York City. Upon moving from
New York to New Jersey she settled in Conyers Georgia. She became a member of the Church
Of New Beginning Conyers Georgia where she served on the Usher Ministry until her illness.
Ella was employed with Remington House from 2004-2013.
She was married to William Bostick (deceased) then later married Jerry Ward Sr. who proceeded
her in death two sons was born to this union. Seven siblings, one daughter Nancy Koiner, and one great grandson Anthony Maurice Savoy, III also proceeded her in death. Her precious life memories will be with her two daughters: Sheryl Ann Koiner, Conyers Ga. Shirley Jean Banks-Savoy of Locust Grove VA. three Sons: Theodore Michael Koiner and Jerry Walter Ward Jr. and Jeffrey Willie Ward both Of Conyers GA. seven Grandchildren, seven Great grands, one Sister Marcia Koiner Drew, Charlotte NC two Nephews, Michael and Charles Koiner both of Petersburg VA. 2 First cousins raised like sisters Yvonne C. Oliver, and Gurlecia S. Hackney both of Bronx New York, host of other cousins and friends.
