Eddie Thomas Jr.'s Obituary
Mr. Eddie Thomas Jr. was born to the late Olivia Reed and Eddie Thomas Sr. in Pensacola Fla. July 18, 1945. Eddie left Pensacola to join the United States Army April 26, 1967. Eddie came to Atlanta where he worked for the VA Medical Center. that is where he met Mary Brown. Eddie and Mary join in holy matrimony June 12, 1994. Eddie went to work for Pine Street Elementary and retired in 2012.
Eddie was a member of Salem Christian Church then rejoined Harvest Tabernacle Christian Center. Eddie was a fun and loving person to hang with.
Eddie leaves behind his cherished wife Mary Thomas, sister Betty Mae Banks, three daughters, Freda (Bishop Alonzo Moreland), Tami Phillips, Kayla Taylor, six sons Eddie Thomas III, Richard Phillips. Marvin Phillips, Fitzgerald Reed, Seaton Reed, Greg(Teresa) Blount; forty-six Grandchildren, nineteen Great Grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
Celebration of Life Services for Eddie Thomas will be held on Friday, August 15, 2020 at 1:00 PM. These services will be recorded and streamed live.
