Dorothy Lee Parks' Obituary
Dorothy Lee Parks, age 76 of Conyers, died Monday, October 1st, 2018. She joins her father Asbury, mother Rosalie, and two brothers Curtis and Asbury Parks.She is survived by her husband of five years George Gray Sr. of Conyers, sister Peggy Stewart of Seaford, Delaware, and brother Gene Parks of Hurlock, Maryland. She will be missed by her son Michael Dean Lockard and his wife Ellie of Reisterstown, Maryland, daughter Dawn Anderson and her husband Robert of Conyers, and grandchildren Deidre, Trinity and Jordan Anderson. Additional services will be held for family and friends in Maryland. Dorothy was born and raised in Wingate, Maryland and lived all around the state during her lifetime. She lived in southern Florida for a short time and also lived in Snellville, Georgia, during the 80's and 90's before returning to Maryland. She spent 20 years in Princess Anne, Maryland, not a far trip for her son and his wife to come visit regularly. In that time, she touched the lives of many loving friends from her community and her church, Walker Memorial Church of God. She moved to Conyers about a year ago and was able to spend quality time with her daughter and grandchildren.
