Dorothy Mae King-Jones' Obituary
Mrs. Dorothy Mae King- Jones was born to the late Mr. and Mrs. Odessa and James King, Sr. on January 26, 1964 in Covington, Georgia. She attended Newton County High School in Covington, Georgia. Dorothy married Michael Lewis Jones on June 16, 1987 and enjoyed over 31 happy years together. They raised three sons, Lamont Antonio King, Brandon Nicale Jones and Jonathan Jamel Jones. Dorothy loved fishing, shopping and watching her favorite television programs. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a loving wife, wonderful mother and very proud grandmother. She was very kind with a quiet spirit.
Dorothy transitioned on Sunday, March 3, 2019 and is survived by her husband Michael Jones; three sons, Antonio, Brandon and Jamel; siblings, Alice King, and James King, Jr.; grandchildren Jayden Jones, Kennio Michael Jones, Jaydean Nicale Jones and Iveoyann Jones-Harris; as well as a host of in-laws, relatives and friends. She will be sorely missed
