Dr. Bernard Clay
It was just yesterday that I learned of the death of my dear friend, Dorothea. Our friendship began just days after she moved to Georgia. I was introduced to her by Carmen and Garvin - her daughter and son-in-law, an impressive couple that I assisted while serving at Hillandale. They were my "cordial, king neighbors from across the street" who always invited me to join them when they had a delicious-food event. Since having a light stroke in 2018, I have not been able to share with my friends at Olivia Haydel, where Dorothea invited me to assist with music when she and a few more started the seniors choir there. I thank God for these personal friendships that I reflect on so very often. No daughter and son-in-law could be more attentive and loving to a parent than Carmen and Garvin. My thoughts and prayers are with this family the family
