Donna Lee Brown's Obituary
Donna Lee Brown was born October 1, 1945, in the Williamsburg section of the Bronx, NY and was called home on January 13, 2022.
Donna grew up in Queens, New York with her father, Harold Hodge who retired as a NYPD 1st Grade Detective and her mother, Doris who retired as a NYC Registered Nurse and her older sister Stephanie A Boyd. During her adult years, Auntie Donna worked as a bookkeeper for a popular New York radio station, was married and lived in Amityville, Long Island where she made many dear, life-long friends. She later moved back to Queens to care for her ailing mother and aunt. Donna then moved to Atlanta, GA to be close family and helped care for her three young great-nieces.
Donna leaves to cherish her memory four nephews; David R. Boyd of Knoxville, TN; Robert E. Boyd III of Conyers, GA; Paul K. Boyd of Boynton Beach, Fl and Malcolm D. Boyd of Atlanta, GA. She also leaves great nephews and nieces Dr. Christopher D. Boyd, Jason R Boyd, Brandon O. Boyd, Kylie Humber, Maleah Boyd-Gouveia, and Jordan Boyd, two niece in-laws, Stephanie and Teresita Boyd: 2 great nieces In- Laws, Sandi Pessin-Boyd and Evelyn Boyd-Gouveia along with a host of cousins and friends.
