Dolsie May Hylton's Obituary
Known to others as Linda, was born in the Clydesdale District of St. Ann, Jamaica, on April 21, 1955. She was the sixth of eight
children. She had five sisters Evelyn, Gina, Zelda, Carmen, and Linette and two brothers, Babba and Milton. She spent her childhood in Jamaica until she was adopted by Ms. Imogene Frater, which provided her with an opportunity to move to the United States. Dolsie worked the majority of her life in New Jersey as a factory worker, a cook, and in retail. After spending several years in New York, she later moved to Georgia with Rodney Mendez, where she flourished and was recognized for her hard work and dedication, earning awards as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with Westbury Assisted Living.
We remember her and celebrate her life, for she was loved by many. Hold on to the cherished memories you shared with her. We love you. We miss you. She is survived by her son, Audley Dennis Jr.; her daughter, Juanita Atkins; her fiancé, Rodney Mendez; her granddaughter, Hope Dennis; her five grandsons, Maurice and Samaire Atkins, Joshua Dennis, Daniel Dennis, and Elijah Dennis; her two sisters, Evelyn and Linette; her brother, Milton; her fifteen nephews; her thirteen nieces; and many grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
