Daniel Webster Giles' Obituary
Deacon Daniel Webster Giles was born July 2, 1948 in Rockdale County, Conyers, Georgia to the late Rev. Theodis And Bessie Lee (Harvell) Giles. he departed this life on Tuesday February 2, 2021. Daniel was preceded in passing by his son : Quinton Giles, his siblings : Zelma Flagg, Dorothy Walker, and Kenny Giles.
Daniel graduated from J.P Carr High School in 1966, after graduating he serviced in the U.S. Air Force. Daniel was a dedicated and devoted deacon of Miller Chapel Baptist Church. Daniel loved being a mechanic. He enjoyed fixing things no matter what it was. He was a jack of all trades. There were very few things he could not do and even then he would find some way to figure it out. He was a man of humor and joy. He was a man that would reach out a helping hand to those who needed and those that didn't know they needed it. He was a man that I will continue to be.
Daniel leaves to forever cherish his memories: two sons; Spencer and Reginald Giles; six brothers; Mr. and Mrs. Theodis Giles Jr, Mr. and Mrs. John Giles, Mr. and Mrs. Thaddeus Giles; Rev Eddie B. Giles; Mr. and Mrs. Grady Giles; Mr. Tony A. Giles; two sisters; Mrs. Juanita Worthy; Mrs. Hattie Ruth Ruley. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, special friends and friends who all loved him dearly.
