Mr. Charlie McCollum was born in Conyers, Georgia, December 23, 1947 to the late Howard A.McCollum and the late Maggie V. Saffo McCollum
He departed this Life on November 30, 2019, he was married to the late Mary Martin, who preceded him in death.
From 1969-2017 one daughter preceded him in death Monique McCollum, two sisters preceded him in death, Miss Hester Phillip and Ms. Magdalene McCollum, Myrick and three brother Mr. Ralph McCollum, Mr. John McCollum and Eugene McCollum.
He was employed with the Atlanta Constitution, and retired after 25 years, afterward he own his on moving business from 1993 - 2005.
He loved fishing and collecting horse's figurines.
He confessed to Christ at an early age and joined the Millers Chapel Baptist Church.
He leaves to mourn his passing one daughter, Miss Cecelia McCollum, one son charlie Earnest McCollum, five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren,four brothers Mr. Howad McCollum Jr.(Gladys) of Conyers, Ga. Mr.Leon Arthur McCollum of Cleveland, Ohio, Mr. Joseph Mccollum of Tampa FL. three sisters Eloise Zachery of Chandler, AZ, Renda Eiland( Rudolph) of Cleveland, Ohio, Annie J Weaver of Conyers, Ga.. and a host of nieces, nephews, relative and friends and a dear cousin & friend Evelyn Maddox was always there in time of need.
