Callie J Hill-Reshard's Obituary
Pastor Callie J. Hill-Reshard was born in Miccosoukee, Florida on July 30,1951 to the late Johnny Jones and Idella Jones. She was united in Holy Matrimony to the love of her life, Eddie Hill-Reshard for 46 wonderful years in September. To their union three children were born, one of whom preceded her in death. Callie Hill-Reshard transitioned home to be with the Lord on Friday, November 2, 2018.
Pastor Callie accepted Christ at an early age at St. Paul Primitive Baptist Church. She has since been a member or adopted member of many congregations because of her and Pastor Eddie's obedience to their heavenly Father, before God lead them to start THDM Church. Pastor Callie Hill-Reshard loved and cared desperately for her family and friends. If anyone were sick she was a caregiver or if they were in need she went into overdrive to care for them and pray for them. She was a devoted prayer warrior who had a strong prayer life and steadfast desire to do her heavenly Fathers will. She was also as devoted to her family, extended family, and her friends. Her heart was genuine, and her devotion to family and friends was strong.
She was a very special Grandmother (Nana) to her Grandchildren. She earnestly prayed a prayer of protection for each of them daily wanting to know Gods will for them and seeking Gods best for their lives. She was so very proud of each of them in their own way but knew God has more in store for each of them. She was a no-nonsense Grandmother (Nana), always giving them guidance they needed, whether they wanted it or not. She gave them a strong foundation and start in life. Her final Pearls of wisdom to the Grandkids, "Be good and seek the will of our heavenly Father and do it!" "I love you".
Pastor Callie leaves to cherish her memories: her husband, Pastor Eddie Hill-Reshard of Lithonia, GA, a daughter, Kay Truesdale (Benny) of Stone Mountain, GA, a son Eddie D. Hill-Reshard of Tallahassee, FL, and a son Janorris M. Hill of Tallahassee, FL (preceded his Mother). Nine Grandchildren Marquis Rashon Hill, LaDante Jashon Hill, Destiny Callie' Allen, Kamaria Shayon Hill, Eddie "E3" DaQuantae Hill, Zion J'Nay Hill, Ja'Narri Semetris Hill, Therodore Jeremiah Truesdale (preceded Nana), and Timothy Joshua Truesdale. One Greatgrandchild King Faulk of Tallahassee, FL. One sister Rose Mary Jones of Tallahassee, FL, three brothers Lucious Jones (Catherine) and Polly Jones (Barbara) of Tampa, FL, and Albert Jones (Pelinda) of Tallahassee, FL. Mother-in-law, Geneva Walker of DeSoto, TX, Two Sister-in-laws, Wilma Tucker (Luther) of DeSoto, TX, and Annette Walker of Denver, CO. Five Godchildren LaKendra "Shay Shay" Smith-Hall, Jarrod Brown, Yolanda "Dee" Washington-Pullin, Janada Scott, Quinazett Bryant and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
