Mr. Bobby Shepherd was born February 4, 1943 to the late Johnny L. Shepherd and Minnie Kate Nelson Shepherd in Covington, Georgia .
Bobby confessed his faith in Christ at Peeks Chapel Baptist Church at an early age. He fell in love with Jehovah and knew the Bible very well.
Mr. Bobby Shepherd worked for Portadale Cotton Mill, Georgia Hwy and Lithonia Lighting Company where he retired after twenty four years.
Bobby met no strangers, everyone that came to know him loved him very much.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents John L Shepherd and Minnie Kate Nelson Shepherd, sisters Evelyn Williams, Dorothy Johnson and brother Albert Shepherd
Bobby Shepherd is survived by his wife Janice Diane Shepherd of twenty-seven years, daughter Priscilla(Renwick) Henderson, Sons Barry Shepherd, Timothy Shepherd, Cedric(Teresa) Shepherd, Demetrius Shepherd, two step children Wendy Christian and Audrey "Dee Dee" Stroud. two sisters Lucy(Harvey Lee) English, Jan Durams, brothers Billy Shepherd, Bobby Shepherd, nineteen grandchildren, seventeen great-grand children, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends
