Balfour Ezekiel Williams' Obituary
Balfour Williams was born on April 12, 1947 in St. Thomas, Jamaica, W.I. He passed away on December 10, 2025, at the age of78. Balfour was united in marriage to his beloved wife, the late Elsena Williams, and together they shared 51 years of love, devotion, andpartnership. From this union, he leaves behind three cherished children who were the pride and joy of his life. In 1992, Balfour dedicated his life to Jehovah and symbolized this dedication through water baptism. From that moment forward, he faithfully served Jehovah with zeal and devotion. A cherished member of his congregation, Balfour lived a life guided by deep, personal faith.
He found immense joy in sharing the Bible's message of hope with others and faithfully served as a Ministerial Servant. Balfour's zeal was further demonstrated through his voluntary spirit. He generously gave of his time and resources, notably assisting in the remodeling of the landmark Stanley Theatre, the largest Assembly Hall in New Jersey and participating in several Kingdom Hall building projects over the years. Truly, he was a pillar for the truth.
Despite declining health, limited mobility, and ongoing pain, Balfour remained steadfast in his worship. In imitation of the biblical exampleof Annah, he was seldom absent from weekly congregation meetings, continuing to strengthen and encourage others through his faithfulpresence. Balfour's life was a powerful testament to his faith, endurance, and generous spirit one that deeply touched all who knew him.He is survived by his two brothers, Skeadymore and Melvin; his children, Ralphie Bernard, Sharika Johnson, and Andre Williams; fourteen grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren, along with a host of loving relatives and friends who will forever cherish hismemory.
