Arturo Acevedo Cardona A.K.A. "Papi", 90 years old of San Juan, Puerto Rico, passed away on 2/26/2020 in Loganville, GA.
Funeral services will be held (time of funeral) Friday, February 28, 2020 at George W. Levett Sr. & Sons Funeral Home with the (name of minister) of (name of church), officiating. Burial will follow at Hillandale Memorial Park at 6201 Hillandale Dr. Lithonia, GA.
Arturo was born in Santurce, Puerto Rico to Amelia and Pedro Acevedo Cardona on January 31, 1930. He married Miss. Clotilde Sevilla Martinez on December 1, 1956 in Vega Alta, Puerto Rico, and he was the loving father of their five children. He was a small business owner - Locksmith for more than 75 years considered a pioneer in his craft and one of the best and most respected locksmiths of Puerto Rico.
Arturo is preceded in death by his parents, siblings and Clotilde Sevilla.
Arturo is survived by his five children; Marilu Montalvo and Richard Montalvo, Arturo Acevedo Sevilla and Julie Acevedo, Frances Moss and David Moss, Ramon G. Acevedo Sevilla, and Miriam Acevedo Sevilla. Grandchildren; Martha L. Acevedo, Juliana E. Acevedo, Jonathan R. Montalvo and Phetsada Montalvo, Christopher R. Montalvo and Emily Montalvo, Guillermo E. Black, Frances Taichally Ligon, and Gerardo Lionel Acevedo.
Great-grandchildren; Abel E. Ligon, Samuel S. Ligon, and Preston W. Montalvo Sharpton
Pallbearers will be Arturo Acevedo, Jr., Richard Montalvo, Jonathan Montalvo, and Christopher Montalvo.
