Antwan George Dowdell's Obituary
On Sunday, April 28, 2019, God decided to call his son, Antwan George Dowdell, home to himself. Antwan was born on May 25, 1981 at Grady Hospital to Nicole Bonds and Mark Dowdell Sr. Yes, he was a Grady Baby from Atlanta, Georgia.
Antwan was a product of the DeKalb County School System where he attended Gresham Park and McNair High. He then received his GED from DeKalb Perimeter College.
Antwan started working at the age of 14 years old. He worked many jobs in his life, but he was most proud of his job at the City of Atlanta Water Shed.
Antwan was known to many as "Twan2Trillion," and was lovingly called "Twan Twan" by his sister, Kristal Dowdell. He enjoyed hanging out with his friends and spending time with his kids, but his specialty was his music. He loved to rap, and he wrote all of his songs in his head. His first musical group was the "FM Boys," and he later formed "The Regime" and "Solid Life Music" with his partner, Will.
In his youth, he met and married Seindah Gascot, and to that union, his children, Jacori, Amirah and Justin were born.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Margaret Henderson, Shirley Ashley, Graham Jordan, Jack Dowdell, George Ashley; and brothers, Deonte Hudson and Greg Goodman.
Antwan is survived by his mother, Nicole Bonds (Ronald); father, Mark Dowdell Sr. (Cathlene); wife, Seindah; children, Jacori, Amirah and Justin; father-in-law, Truesun Phillips (Rashida); mother-in-law, Sophia Gascot; sisters, Kristal, Esomia, Angelica and Rachel; brothers, Mark Jr., Tray, Vincent, Ronderick, Cedric, Kawanta, Michael Goodman and Eric Fair; aunts, Chris (Robert), Annette, Shyrlene and Gwen; uncles, Melvin (Tina), Bobby (Ilse), Kim (Annette), Nicholas, Albert, Jonathan, Alfred, Terry, Everette (Ruthie), Keith and Kenny; 16 nieces, 6 nephews, and a host of sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, great aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
