CHAPMAN, Angierona Holbrook August 21, 1940 - May 9, 2019
Angierona Holbrook Chapman, age 78, of Conyers passed away Thursday, May 9, 2019. Angie was born in Atlanta to the late Rev. A.C. Holbrook, Sr, and Sallie Neill Holbrook. She graduated from South Cobb High School and Tift College. Angie worked as an office manager for many years, and later as a limousine driver. She enjoyed telling stories of the famous and interesting people she met, and sharing her knowledge of navigating Atlanta. She was also a devout Christian and dedicated church member at Epiphany Lutheran Church. She looked for every opportunity to spread Christ's love to others.
Angie was preceded in death by her parents and five sisters, her husband, Archie Thomas Chapman, and her daughter, Mary Ann Chapman.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Harold and Rhonda Chapman of Conyers; a daughter, Robyn Chapman of Decatur; two brothers, Paul Holbrook (Betty) of San Diego, CA and Rev. Dr. A.C. (Buddy) Holbrook, Jr. (Becky) of Augusta; grandchildren Brian Chapman, Chris Parker, Kayla Chapman, and Bennett Chapman; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, May 14, at 11:00 am at Epiphany Lutheran Church, 2375 Highway 20 SE, Conyers, GA 30013, with interment to follow in the church columbarium. The family will receive friends at the church from 9:30 until 10:30 am before the service. Flowers are appreciated, or donations to the church would also be welcome.
