Angela Maxine Camp's Obituary
Angela “Ann” Maxine Camp was born on January 2, 1962, in Atlanta, Georgia, to the late Joseph Camp Sr. and Mrs. Ruby Lee Camp. On Tuesday, April 1, 2026, she peacefully transitioned from this life into eternal rest.
Ann was raised in Conyers, Georgia, on 1080 Camp Street in the beloved neighborhood known as “the flats.” There, she enjoyed a joyous childhood surrounded by neighborhood friends, devoted siblings, and loving cousins — all bound together by an unmistakable sense of community that defined the era. She attended Rockdale County High School and proudly graduated with the Class of 1980.
Ann possessed a deep love for cooking, baking, and caring for children. Over the years, she babysat and nurtured countless young lives, playing an instrumental role in raising many of them. She was widely celebrated for her beautiful and delicious cakes, and she took immense pride in putting a smile on the face of every person fortunate enough to enjoy them.
A faithful member of World Changers Church International under the leadership of Pastor Creflo Dollar, Ann’s faith was the quiet foundation of her life. Though she could be reserved at times, those who knew her understood the depth of her love and the sincerity of her care for others.
