Alice Teola Hamm-Usher's Obituary
Alice Hamm-Usher was born on December 10, 1915 to Jackson White and Luella Kelly-White. Mrs. Hamm-Usher married at an early age to Elmon Hamm and to this union They had three children, Raleigh, Alfred and Mary; adopted son, Willie Maddox; step-daughter, Ruby Camp. They celebrated 50 years of marriage before Elmon's passing. She later married Willie Usher who also preceded her in death. Mrs. Hamm-Usher retired from both Pacific Overall and Lithonia Lighting. Mrs. Hamm-Usher just celebrated her 100th birthday which earned her a proclamation from The city of Conyers in which the Mayor declared December 10, 2015 Alice Hamm-Usher Day. She loved her yard and was well known for her beautiful flowers. Alice Hamm-Usher leaves wonderful memories to; daughter-in-law, Josephine Hamm; her grandchild, Ray Dean Hamm, Mr. & Mrs. Barry Hamm; (Rosa), Mr. & Mrs. Donald Turner (Cynthia), Gregory Hamm, Hosea Hamm, Mr. & Mrs. Demetrius Hamm (Jolene), Sherry Hamm, Alfred Hamm, Anissa Hamm; and Cassandra Hamm, who preceded her in death, 19 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Mattie Stanford; and a host of other relatives and dear friends
